The Grey Wulff Barbless is an excellent, buoyant dry fly with a substantial silhouette, often used during the UK mayfly period. Its hair wing and hackle keep it visible in broken water, while the grey body can cover large duns and other sizeable surface insects.
Fish it upstream during a hatch, use it as a searching dry, or suspend a light nymph beneath it. This is the sort of dependable dry that can turn a quiet rise into a memorable take.
Forgewater® is the wholesale brand of UK Game Angling LTD, supplying premium barbless fishing flies, bespoke fly selections and own-branded collections to approved trade customers throughout the United Kingdom.
