1. Scope

This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed with UK Game Angling LTD T/A Forgewater ("Forgewater", "we", "our" or "us").

Forgewater supplies wholesale fishing flies and related products exclusively to approved business customers.


2. Order Processing

Orders are normally processed during our standard business hours.

Our aim is to dispatch all in-stock orders as quickly as possible. While we endeavour to meet any estimated dispatch dates, these are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed.

Orders may occasionally be delayed due to stock availability, production schedules, public holidays or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.


3. Bespoke & Own-Branded Orders

Custom products, including bespoke fly selections, own-branded packaging and private label products, are manufactured specifically for each customer.

Production times vary depending on the nature and quantity of the order.

Estimated lead times will be confirmed when your order is accepted.


4. Delivery Methods

Forgewater uses a range of trusted delivery partners.

The carrier used will depend on the destination, parcel size and value of the shipment.

Delivery services may require a signature upon arrival.


5. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated during checkout or agreed as part of your trade account.

Any applicable shipping charges will be shown before your order is confirmed.


6. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times begin once an order has been dispatched.

While we make every effort to deliver within the estimated timeframe, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

Forgewater is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier delays.

  • Customs clearance.

  • Severe weather.

  • Industrial action.

  • Public holidays.

  • Incorrect delivery information.

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.


7. Risk & Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the delivery address provided.

Ownership of the goods remains with Forgewater until payment has been received in full, in accordance with our Terms of Service.


8. Delivery Addresses

Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery information is complete and accurate.

Forgewater accepts no responsibility for delays, additional charges or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery details.

Additional shipping costs resulting from returned or redirected deliveries may be charged to the customer.


9. Inspection of Deliveries

Customers should inspect all deliveries as soon as reasonably practicable.

Any shortages, damaged goods or incorrect products should be reported within 5 working days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number.

  • Details of the issue.

  • Photographs where appropriate.

10. International Deliveries

Forgewater supplies customers within the United Kingdom and selected international markets.

Customers outside the United Kingdom are responsible for:

  • Import duties.

  • Customs charges.

  • VAT or local sales taxes.

  • Customs clearance requirements.

  • Compliance with local import regulations.

Forgewater has no control over customs procedures and cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by customs authorities.


11. Failed Deliveries

Where delivery cannot be completed because:

  • Nobody is available to receive the parcel.

  • The delivery address is incorrect.

  • Delivery is refused.

The parcel may be returned to Forgewater.

Any additional shipping charges incurred for re-delivery may be payable by the customer.


12. Split Shipments

Where necessary, Forgewater reserves the right to dispatch orders in multiple consignments.

Where this occurs, customers will not be charged additional shipping costs unless agreed in advance.


13. Force Majeure

Forgewater shall not be liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters.

  • Fire.

  • Flood.

  • War.

  • Industrial disputes.

  • Government action.

  • Pandemic.

  • Failure of suppliers or delivery partners.
